Who Is TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the thing that matters. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into how you think about it.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
